How to make Outback Steakhouse Creamy Potato Soup

Riverwalk from Prairie homemaker also posted this recipe along with the recipe for Outback Steakhouse Bread .

I have not tried this one either but figured someone may want it.

5 or 6 large potatoes
1 can evaporated milk (12 ounce can)
1 lb. Velveeta Cheese, cubed
salt to taste
pepper to taste
garlic to taste
Sour cream
Bacon bits
Shredded cheese
Green onion tops
Wash, peel, cut potatoes in small pieces. In medium size pot, barely cover with water,
boil until cooked but still firm. Add milk and cheese. Cook on low stirring constantly until
cheese melts. Do not boil. Ladle into serving bowls and add toppings of sour cream,
bacon bits, shredded cheese, and green onion tops.

    Do you drain the water from the potatoes before adding the cheese and milk. I never knew that cheese was one of the main ingredients. I am planning making this dish tomorrow. Thanks!!

      Sorry I was away from the blog for a few months and didn’t get your comment til now. This is 1 recipe I have not actually tried. I posted it because a friend asked me to locate it. How did it turn out?
