Chocolate cake with cherrys!

Okay so  we did this 2 weeks ago and had planned to do a stacked princess cake but I goofed up a batch of cake batter so all we had left was the smash cake(dinosaur) and a 12″ cake. What to do? We decided to make a cake with cherry pie filling and poured on to the top of the cake. It was delicious!

We even managed to sell some. Thank goodness. My son was a few blocks down seeing if anyone wanted any cookies and some guy flagged him down.

“Hey cookie boy!!!”

He said he was visiting his sister and nephew and (I am sure they must have raved about our dessert’s to him cause why else would he be flagging my son down? haha. They usually buy cookies and cupcakes.) wanted $20.00 in stuff.

Hooray!! I got a whole bunch of cake you can have!!! hahaha

Good thing they weren’t picky cause I can be alot freer with my stuff when someone says I got $20.00 what can you send me? Instead of nit picking over everything.

We managed to slice the cake into 20 pieces but a few were bigger til Joe got the hang of slicing it and some toward the middle fell apart a bit. Probably cause they didn’t have much frosting like the end pieces did. We didn’t frost the top of the cake, just poured the cherrys with the glaze over. There was icing piped on the border and of course around the cake. Some icing piped in the middle.

So I sent them the medium pieces that were on the outside of the cake that looked nicer.

WOuld you like a piece?
