Chocolate Cake w/strawberrys and whipped cream

This is the most delicious chocolate cake ever!
I have said that before about the texas sheet cake.
But this one blows even that one out of the water!
…I baked a new cake yesterday. It is in a 9×13 pan but is huge! It has 9 3/4 batter. It is a from scratch cake and the cake is very sturdy.
This was the most moistest, delicious cake ever! I absolutely adore “cool whip” frosting. We used 1 qt of heavy cream, gelatin and powdered sugar with vanilla. This has 8 cups of frosting and filling. We used 1 lb of fresh strawberry’s.
Okay so this cake is about 30% bigger than the duncan hines cake I baked the other day. (a friend gave me the box.)
We cut it into 24 slices.
Now I mentioned before we are newbies to decorating so please over look the imperfections. I baked and Joe decorated. The crumbs started coming thru so I took some cake that had been cut off the top and sprinkled it on top of the frosting. Next time I need to have him ice, then freeze for a while or something. Then ice more. You can tell on the sides we need practice!
I was also kind of in a hurry cause I wanted to eat it! lol
This is the other side of the cake. See where it got messed up?
mmmmmm….this cake is absolutely delicious and I will be making this again and again.
